The 2005 Diamond Derby (G1) was won by TH Richie and Dixies Delight was victorious in the the Sapphire Sprint (G1). TH Richie, owned by Dianne Waldron and trained by Phil Saxer, has now won the first 2 legs of the Arabian Triple Crown sponsored by Markel/Pratt Insurance. He goes for the sweep in the Bob Magness Memorial Derby (G1) on July 4. Dixies Delight duplicates the feat of her mother, Dixie Darlene, who won the Sapphire Sprint in 1998.
